The School of Politics Public Affairs International Studies SPPAIS at the University of Wyoming in Laramie Wyoming offers comprehensive undergraduate and graduate programs focused on the study of political systems behavior and theory. Formed in 2017 by merging the former Department of Political Science and the Global and Area Studies Program SPPAIS provides students with a unique perspective on governance and citizenship. The School is dedicated to cultivating critical thinking analytical skills and effective communication preparing graduates for impactful careers across government law public service non-profit organizations and the private sector. It equips students to understand and engage with the complexities of the domestic and global political landscape.
